Recent results have been a lot of Mercedes (four-race win streak) and Kimi Antonelli (three-straight wins), but will they be able to keep it up at today's Canadian Grand Prix? I'm taking a look at the Canadian Grand Prix odds and favorites, where George Russell (+100) is the betting favorite.
Ahead of the action getting underway at Circuit Gilles-Villeneuve in Montreal at 4 p.m. ET (ESPN), I'm backing Antonelli (+170) to finish ahead of his teammate again.

🏁 Early pick to win Canadian Grand Prix
Kimi Antonelli (+175) ⭐⭐⭐⭐
The 19-year-old has won three consecutive races, and he is not slowing down. Antonelli won from pole in all three victories, accomplishing what most people thought George Russell would.
The Mercedes driver is showcasing how dominant the W17 car is. He wasn't at his best in Miami, but still found a way to come back and win. Antonelli made a few small mistakes, but nothing that his car can't overcome.
While I have reservations about backing a teenager to win a fourth straight race, I'm so impressed by his performances that I'm overlooking any concerns. He finished third at last year's Canadian Grand Prix, his debut podium. How far he's come.

Here's a look at the best alternatives on the board looking ahead to Sunday's race:
George Russell (+200)
There's no other way around it: Russell is struggling to race under Antonelli's growing shadow. The Briton endured his worst performance of the season in Miami, finishing fourth. And he only finished fourth because of his car's ability to make up the deficit in the latter stages of the race.
The Canadian GP represents a defining test of character, as Russell must show he has the mettle and mental fortitude to overcome his early-season adversity. Comfortable and confident in Montreal, Russell won last year's Canadian GP and finished third in 2024.
Now, we have to see him assemble a mistake-free race, which hasn't occurred since the opener Down Under.
Lando Norris (+450)
McLaren is well and truly back in the mix, which Norris demonstrated when he finished second at the Miami GP. Norris lost by just over three seconds, the second-closest margin between first and second in four races.
He ran a near-flawless race, and last year's champion is one year removed from finishing second at the Canadian GP. He didn't finish at last year's Canadian GP after running into teammate Piastri.
For Norris to win, he must be as close to perfect as possible. While improbable, Norris has the acumen and experience to make it happen, especially after his confidence-boosting Miami GP performance.
Oscar Piastri (+1000)
McLaren has my vote behind Mercedes, of course. Piastri cracked the podium in Miami for the second race running as he took second at the Japanese GP.
He was, however, well off the pace, finishing over 27 seconds behind Antonelli. That should have little bearing on Sunday's race, with Piastri finishing in fourth at last year's Canadian GP despite being run into by Norris.
Piastri is gaining momentum quickly and racing almost as well as he did in the early stages of last season.
