🏈 Elks vs. Blue Bombers prediction & best bet

Elks +3.5 (-115)

Mike O'Shea's team isn't what it used to be after missing the Grey Cup for the first time since 2018 last season. With Zach Collaros now 37 and Winnipeg's defense struggling to start the season, the Blue Bombers don't look like the power they once were - they're 4-6 ATS since Week 14 of last season.

Meanwhile, Edmonton has been a tough out under Canadian head coach Mark Kilam. The defense looks like it's set to take a major leap this season, allowing the fewest PPG (25.0) and yards per game (389.5) through the first three weeks.

Plus, having a steady QB like Cody Fajardo and All-Star talent like Justin Rankin and Austin Mack should help the Elks keep things close in The Peg.

Score prediction: Blue Bombers 24, Elks 23

🔥 Best Elks vs. Blue Bombers player prop bet

Brady Oliviera & Justin Rankin anytime TD SGP (+207)

Oliveira is the best running back in the CFL, and he's shown no signs of slowing down. The Canadian continues to look like the second coming of Jon Cornish after winning CFL Most Outstanding Player two years ago and cracking 1,000 rushing yards in each of the last four seasons.

However, it's Rankin who leads the CFL in scrimmage yards thus far, with 426 in just two games. So, if you like superstar running backs, this game is for you. Both offenses rely heavily on their backs, and both backs are capable of breaking big plays and finding the end zone.
