Where will LeBron James play next season?
The Heat have surged to a 49% probability after a story went viral on Twitter/X on Tuesday night.
Miami had just a 36% chance of landing James on Tuesday evening before this story broke. In the hours afterward, the Heat spiked as high as 57% before money came back in on No contracts.
The Cavaliers are next in line with a 30% probability. They were as low as 19.9% recently (June 29), before Oklahoma journalist Addam M. Francisco reported that he had the inside scoop on Saturday.
Francisco's report caused Yes contracts on Cleveland to spike up to 39¢, but the Heat story has since shifted the momentum back to Miami.
The Warriors are the third-most likely option at 14%. Golden State was recently as high as 33% on Friday.
The market has been bearish on the Warriors lately, though, after ESPN's Shams Charania reported that Miami and Cleveland are ahead of Golden State.

He has spoken in the past about wanting to play with Curry, and a move to the Bay Area wouldn’t be as drastic as uprooting his life to Miami (or, even worse, Cleveland). While a James-Curry Warriors squad may not have the depth needed to win a championship, it would be the least disruptive move for his lifestyle, and Los Angeles would be just 45–60 minutes away via private flight.
