The penultimate episode of Survivor 50: In the Hands of the Fans is in the books, and two legends, Cirie Fields and Rick Devens, had their torches snuffed. This sets up a final five featuring four New Era players and just one player from pre-40.
Heading into the season finale, Reverse the Curse, we're looking at prediction markets for who will win Survivor 50. Aubry Bracco remains the overwhelming favorite, with her odds at 94%. No one else has a greater than 4% chance of winning.
📊 Who will win Survivor 50?
Entering the Survivor 50 finale, Aubry Bracco is still a huge favorite, trading at 94 cents to win. With major threats like Rick Devens and Cirie Fields out of the game, the only thing stopping Aubry from winning is the other players voting her out before the Final Tribal Council. If she gets to the end, this game is over.
You can currently buy Bracco "yes" for 94 cents. In most cases, the price in cents for the "yes" directly matches the chance an option has of being successful. However, in rare instances, there is a cent or two discrepancy.

What do those percentage chances mean?
For many who are new to prediction markets, it's handy to put the Kalshi percentage chances into American odds. We do this by using an odds converter, converting the percentage chances into implied odds. Here's a snapshot of all the player's chances of winning after the premiere, along with their American odds.
| Player | Kalshi percentage chance | American odds |
|---|---|---|
| Aubry Bracco | 94% | -1567 |
| Jonathan Young | 4% | +2400 |
| Joe Hunter | 3% | +3233 |
| Rizo Velovic | <1% | +10000 |
| Tiffany Nicole Ervin | <1% | +10000 |
🔮 Survivor 50 prediction
Aubry is the leader here, and there are plenty of reasons for that. She has plenty of experience with three seasons under her belt (32, 34, 38), including a runner-up finish in her debut and a final five showing in her second appearance. And while I've been fighting against the favorite all season, looking for value in other players, I'm finally giving in. Aubry Bracco is my pick to win Survivor 50.
Aubry seemed to get all the credit for Cirie's boot, even though you could argue that Rizo Velovic was actually more impactful on the result. Still, if Aubry is getting credit in the edit, there's a reason why, and to me, it's becoming painfully obvious that Aubry is being set up to succeed in the finale.
With Devens and Cirie both on the jury, Aubry just earned two more jury votes, as both players have previous relationships with her, having played with her in past seasons. No one else in the game has the same historical pedigree as Aubry, and with Tiffany Nicole Ervin being labeled a bigger threat than Aubry in this past episode, it seems Aubry is destined to make the final four. And if there is a firemaking challenge, she already has one firemaking win in her career.
Long shot pick
Because Aubry's chances of winning are so high, pretty much every other player is now considered a long shot to win the game. Therefore, I'll back Jonathan Young as my long-shot winner pick.
Jonathan found himself in a unique position in episode 11, as he traveled back and forth between two groups of four, collecting information. Jonathan was the only player allowed to vote at both tribal councils, and he helped orchestrate one of the biggest blindsides of the game thus far.
I don't think that Jonathan can beat Aubry at Final Tribal Council. However, he was a member of the "Honor and Integrity" alliance, and if he's able to make one more move, he may be able to get a view unexpected jury votes. That said, his clearest path to winning is to go to the end with Rizo and Joe.

The season features three previous winners, all from recent seasons: Dee Valladares in season 45, Kyle Fraser season 48, and Savannah Louie in season 49. All previous winners have been eliminated. We also have eight runners-up, and two second-runners-up.
Cirie and Ozzy both returned for a fifth season of the American version of the game, although Cirie also has an Australian season under her belt. Both players were eliminated before the finale.
🗳️ Fan votes
Most of the fan votes have already been revealed. Before the season began, we learned that the tribe colors would be orange, teal, and magenta, and the finale would return to Los Angeles for a live show.
We found out during the premiere that fans voted not to give the tribes rice or supplies. We also saw an idol appear, showing fans voted for them to remain in action, and we saw a dynamic advantage to come out.
In episode 3, we also learned that fans voted "Yes" for a tribe swap, as the original tribes were disbanded and three new tribes of seven were created.
Since then, we have learned that fans voted for "I love twists - bring them on!" and "A decorative bird" as the immunity necklace. Now, only two questions remain to be answered.
The results of the final two votes will be revealed during the finale:
- Final four fire-making -> "Keep it" or "Lose it"
- Final four challenge -> "Pinball Wizard" or "The Obstacle Course" or "Simmotion"
🧑⚖️ The Jury House: Who's deciding the winner?
A massive 94% probability for Aubry suggests the prediction markets believe the current jury is "pro-Aubry." For her to secure the $1 million, she needs to maintain her relationships with the legends currently residing at Ponderosa.
Current jury members & their leanings:
- Cirie Fields (Ep 12): As one of the greatest strategists to ever play Survivor, there's no doubt that Cirie is going to vote for who she thinks played the best strategic game. That would be Aubry. But if Aubry isn't there, then I expect her to vote for either Rizo or Tiffany in the end.
- Rick Devens (Ep 12): Devens is all about chaos, so there's no chance that Joe or Jonathan gets his vote. If Aubry is at the end, I assume he'll vote for her, as the two played on Edge of Extinction together.
- Ozzy Lusth (Ep 11): While Aubry orchestrated his blindside, Ozzy historically respects "challenge beasts" and "bold moves." If Aubry can frame her move as a necessary survival tactic, she likely has his vote over a passive player.
- Emily Flippen (Ep 11): A student of the game, Emily will likely vote for the most logical resume. Aubry’s ability to pivot after the tribe split is exactly the kind of gameplay Emily rewards.
- Stephenie LaGrossa Kendrick (Ep 10): As a New Era jury member in a Legacy body, Stephenie may value the social bond Aubry built during their time on the magenta tribe.
- Christian Hubicki (Ep 9): If Aubry allows Rick Devens to get to the end, then she has no chance of getting Christian's vote. That said, as long as Devens is gone, Aubry seems like a logical voting choice for Christian, who is likely to vote for who he thinks played the best strategic game.
- Coach Wade (Ep 8): It seems very unlikely that Aubry gets Coach's vote, as he is all about "honor and integrity," and there are far too many players left in the game who fit that bill.
- Chrissy Hofbeck (Ep 8): Though Chrissy isn't as obsessed with honor and integrity as Coach, I see her voting for a player like Joe or Jonathan over Aubry in the end.
- Dee Valladares (Ep 7): The first member of the jury, we didn't get a chance to see Dee and Aubry interact much. But as a former winner, I believe that Dee will vote for who she thinks played the best game. So as long as Cirie and Devens are out, Aubry should have her vote.
The "bitter jury" risk
The only thing that can tank an 94% favorite is a bitter jury. If Jonathan Young or Joe Hunter can paint Aubry as "too sneaky" during the Final Tribal Council, those Kalshi odds could shift overnight. However, at this point, I think the jury will actually be more bitter toward other players, rather than her.
📖 How does Kalshi differ from sportsbooks?
Unlike sportsbooks, Kalshi users trade directly with each other in an open market rather than betting against a house. Prices are expressed in cents as implied probabilities, and positions can be sold early to lock in gains or limit losses. For entertainment events like the Oscars, the focus is on forecasting outcomes, not beating a fixed line, offering more flexibility and transparency than traditional betting.
💡 Why should I wager on Survivor 50 at Kalshi?
Kalshi offers four unique advantages over traditional sportsbooks:
- Flexibility: Unlike a "locked-in" bet, you can sell your contract at any time.
- Transparency: You trade against other users, which can allow you to find better value.
- Federal regulation: As a CFTC-regulated exchange, your funds are held in a secure, transparent environment.
- Availability: Kalshi is available in many regions where traditional sportsbooks aren't yet legal.
