Max Fried Under 3.5 strikeouts vs. Pirates (+114)
We have a large sample size to work from here, with 50 at-bats from the Pirates against Fried to draw from. With the lefty owning just a 17% K rate and 24% whiff rate against this lineup, we're feeling pretty good about this plus-money Under. Not only are his numbers lacking in this specific matchup, but Fried will be returning from injury today, which makes me believe he'll have issues going deep against the gritty Pirates. Let's fire this play up as part of our best strikeout props today.
Seth Lugo Under 4.5 strikeouts vs. Giants (-120)
Lugo quite simply just doesn't miss bats, and it's a problem for him and the Royals this year. The righty has just a 10% K rate against the Giants and is in the sixth percentile for whiff and chase percentage this year. He's having one of the worst seasons of his lengthy career in terms of strikeout rate and xERA, too. His steady decline makes him a perfect choice to go Under against a team that strikes out the fifth-least in MLB.
