Smalley ranks seventh in this field in strokes gained: approach and 10th in strokes gained: tee-to-green over his last 24 rounds.
His game travels perfectly to a positional course like Colonial. He's hitting fairways, dialing in his irons, and avoiding big mistakes. At plus-money or near-even odds, banking on him to keep a top-20 streak alive is the strongest play on the board. In a light field, I think +140 betting odds are an absolute steal.
