⛳ Masters Odds & Favorites 2026: Get the Value This Weekend

This is the final week to get the best value out of the 2026 Masters odds. The odds market will sharpen following this week's tournament with the first major of the year on deck at Augusta National Golf Course.

The final tune-up event ahead of the 2026 Masters is underway and the final invitation to first major of the golf season at Augusta National Golf Course will be awarded to the winner, if not already exempt.

This is the final weekend to get value from the Masters odds for the majority of the 91-man field. Odds will shorten as the betting market resets and sharpens Sunday night. We'll see very little fluctuation in the odds through next week leading up to Thursday's opening round.

Read on to see who I've bet throughout the year, and how I'll be wagering on the 2026 Masters winner.

⛳ Masters odds betting favorite

Scottie Scheffler (+550)

Scheffler finished fourth in last year's Masters despite never really appearing to be at the top of his golf all week in Augusta, Ga. That was far from the truth for the remainder of the PGA Tour season, as Scheffler won two majors (PGA Championship and British Open) and four other tournaments from May through September.

🍼 Nappy Factor for Scottie?

Scheffler withdrew from the Houston Open with the birth of his second child reportedly imminent. That should allow him to play in the Masters with his newborn in tow as he seeks a third green jacket.

Bet against the two-time Masters winner at your own risk, but there's almost assuredly no harm in waiting. His odds have jumped up from +300 early in the year to +550 now.

📺️ How to watch the Masters 2026

The Masters will be played from April 9-12, as always, at Augusta National. Coverage will be available on Prime Video, ESPN, Paramount+ (streaming), and CBS, as well as the Masters website.

☘️ Rory McIlroy's Masters odds (+1200)

McIlroy collected three international victories in addition to his long-awaited Masters win in April of last year. He also had two runner-up finishes, a third-place result, and five other top 10s with just missed cut through 22 events played. He finished the year second in the OWGR.

McIlroy has always been viewed as the perfect course fit for Augusta National. Last year's breakthrough victory could start a green jacket collection for the Northern Irishman.

🍽️ Rory McIlroy's Masters champions dinner

McIlroy recently revealed his Masters dinner, which will be served to all past Masters champions in attendance, on the Tuesday evening before Round 1. Here's what will be served:

  • Appetizer: Bacon-wrapped dates, grilled elk sliders, rock shrimp tempura, peach and ricotta flatbread
  • Yellowfin tuna capaccio
  • Wagyu filet mignon, seared salmon
  • Sticky toffee pudding

💪 Bryson DeChambeau Masters odds (+1100)

Bryson DeChambeau's Masters win probability is hovering around 8%. I have last year's T-5 finisher pegged as being far more likely to win his third career major.

DeChambeau is my best bet to win the Masters. I value him playing in the final pairing alongside Rory McIlroy a year ago, and learning from McIlroy's ability to finally overcome his Masters demons and his near-disaster on the back 9. The YouTube and LIV Golf star won back-to-back events in Singapore and South Africa this year, and nobody in golf enters the Masters with as much confidence and self-belief.

💰 Masters futures best bets

Here are our early Masters futures from our golf betting experts; odds may have changed since bets were placed:

Masters pick Odds Date placed Pick made by
Justin Rose to win +6000 via DraftKings January 29 Esten McLaren
Patrick Reed to win +3500 via DraftKings February 7 Esten McLaren
Collin Morikawa to win +2200 via DraftKings March 7 Esten McLaren
Ludvig Aberg to win +2200 via DraftKings March 13 Esten McLaren
Bryson DeChambeau to win +1000 via DraftKings March 20 Esten McLaren

All of my 2026 Masters best bets have been placed in 2026. I've been following player form early in the PGA Tour, LIV Golf, and DP World Tour seasons, and often placing bets during precursor events. I expect to get closing line value on each of these bets, as these five will be popular bets come Masters week, when casual golf fans and bettors begin to do tournament research and join the betting market.

I'll likely limit myself to 1-3 outright bets during the tournament week, as we often see much better value in the futures market. At that point, I'll decide whether to bet on Scheffler or McIlroy, with odds likely the main differentiator. I'll be filling out my card with Masters prop bets, including the Masters projected cut odds.

Tiger Woods withdraws from 2026 Masters

Tiger Woods has withdrawn from the Masters and announced via X.com on Tuesday that he'll be "stepping away for a period of time" to focus on his health. It's unlikely he'll participate in the 2026 Masters.

🚫 Phi Mickelson also withdraws from Masters

Phil Mickelson announced his withdrawal from the 2026 Masters on Thursday, as he'll be out for an extended period due to a family health matter. This will mark the first Masters without Woods and Mickelson since 1994.

🔢 How to read golf odds

Here's how to read golf betting odds using American odds format:

  • Positive odds: Positive odds indicate the potential profit on a $100 wager. For example, if a golfer has odds of +300, it means that a $100 bet would yield a profit of $300 if the golfer wins the tournament. So, your total payout would be $400 ($300 profit + $100 original stake).
  • Negative odds: Negative odds represent the amount you need to wager to win $100 in profit. For instance, if a golfer has odds of -200, it means that you would need to bet $200 to win $100 in profit if the golfer wins. Your total payout would be $300 ($100 profit + $200 original stake). In a tournament like the Masters, it's unlikely to see negative odds on any golfer until late in Sunday's final round while using our best live betting sites.

Understanding these American odds allows you to quickly assess the potential payout and implied probability of a golfer winning a tournament. Positive odds indicate an underdog, while negative odds signify a favorite.

Odds will move leading up to a tournament's start and throughout the event. Live odds will be reflective of the current leaderboard, golfer performance, and the position of the pre-tournament favorites. The odds also factor in the popularity of certain golfers, and how much money the sportsbooks have taken on those golfers to win the tournament.
