While we are paying a premium to bet the Tigers in the first five innings, I still believe this line should be more expensive. The Tigers have been dominant early in Skubal's recent starts, going 4-1-1 on the first-five-innings line over his last six outings.
While the Yankees are the AL favorites in the World Series odds, Skubal has not recorded a loss in any of his last three starts against them, going 1-0 while allowing three earned runs on 13 hits and four walks, with 23 strikeouts across 18 innings.

To make matters worse for Rosario, he had two RBIs in his last game, and he hasn't driven in runs in back-to-back games all season. The last time Rosario drove in runs in consecutive games was during a two-game RBI streak from Sept. 14-18, 2025.

I am fully on board the Dillon Dingler hype train right now. Where is all this power coming from? He hit just 13 home runs in 126 games last season, and now he's already at 18 long balls in 72 outings this year.
The market is underreacting to Dingler's breakout season. He's slashing .385/.405/.756 with seven home runs in June and has gone yard in two of his last four games. It's unlikely that any Yankees hitters will homer today with Skubal on the mound, and this price is too good to pass up.
