British bruiser and longtime fan favourite Derek Chisora will make his 50th and final career appearance in a boxing ring Saturday, April 4, when he clashes with former WBC champ and prolific power puncher Deontay Wilder at the O2 Arena in London, England. It's a fight that is promising to be a thrilling, all-action affair, and with more, let's check out the details in my Chisora vs. Wilder prediction.

Both heavyweights have had storied careers, but now in their 40s, it's a question of which fighter has more left in the tank at this stage. Preliminary card action begins at 12:00 a.m. ET, while the main card festivities are scheduled to kick off at 2 p.m. ET. Current betting odds favor Chisora at -175.

Derek Chisora to win (-175) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Chisora will carry a 40-pound weight advantage into this fight and will put those extra pounds to good use. His come-forward, pressure-heavy style will largely keep Wilder on the back foot, where his fight-ending punching power is less effective.

The 40-year old American has shown in his past couple defeats that he doesn't have the legs to get off the ropes anymore, and Chisora will be in his face, suffocating him all night.

Chasing the win-by-decision prop looks tempting, but 12 rounds is a long time to be getting punched, and with the promise to let it all out in his retirement fight, don't be shocked to see "War" force a late fight stoppage. In the end, the moneyline is the safest way to approach it, so that's what I went with.

Over 7.5 rounds (-140) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Despite Wilder being younger and the more accomplished as a boxer, public sentiment is he'll be the one retiring instead of Chisora. The former Olympic bronze medalist likely left his best days in the ring with three grueling fights vs. Tyson Fury.

Meanwhile, Chisora has been a historically tough out even for elite fighters, and his forward pressure style seems too much for his version of Wilder to handle. This total is set at 7.5, and Chisora's last eight fights have hit the Over on that number, so we are backing it to hit once again here.
