There's been a ton of buzz surrounding Bad Bunny's Super Bowl halftime show, though some of it is coming from those who are angry that the biggest music artist in the world is taking the stage in the middle of the biggest NFL game of the season. However, my Super Bowl halftime show predictions will argue that when it comes to entertainment, all press is good press.

Meanwhile, after Kendrick Lamar featured a grand total of zero (unscheduled) musical guests last year, will Bad Bunny do the opposite and welcome friends galore to the stage?

Of course, perhaps the hottest of the Super Bowl halftime show odds & props is the first song, as everyone wants to predict how the performance will begin. So, with that in mind, let's dive right in.

1️⃣ Super Bowl halftime show prediction: First song

Prediction market via Kalshi. You can use our Kalshi promo code for a $10 bonus by signing up today. Market subject to change. Kalshi isn't available in Canada.

Kalshi offers an endless list of songs for those looking to predict what Bad Bunny's halftime opener will be, with "Tití Me Preguntó" trading as a significant favorite. We explored this market in more depth with our Super Bowl halftime show first song odds at prediction markets.

Prediction: "Chambea" (13% chance | +670 odds)

If you do buy the favorite, you'd earn roughly $5 for every $10 you invest in Yes if Bad Bunny opens his set with the song that features his eighth-most viewed music video on YouTube - all eight have been watched more than a billion times each.

However, if you think he'll start the show with something off his most recent album, DeBÍ TiRAR MáS FOToS, "BAILE INoLVIDABLE" has more than a billion streams on Spotify and is trading as the third-biggest favorite. If you buy Yes on the it, a $10 investment could lead to an $157 profit.

If you're looking to ride the wave, though, "Chambea" has gained massive appeal after influencer - and apparent wizard when it comes to the halftime show first song - Trent Attyah posted on X that Bad Bunny would start with the 2017 song.

It's since soared to the second-biggest favorite on Kalshi, going from a 3% chance at 7:28 p.m. ET on Feb. 7 to a 15% chance at 8:44 p.m., one hour after his post. I'm riding with the hot hand here. Give me "Chambea."

Our C Jackson Cowart is taking "MONACO" as part of his definitive Bad Bunny halftime show setlist, and it's skyrocketed at Kalshi's market in the afternoon on Super Bowl Sunday. It moved from having a 4% chance of being played first to 10% as of 4 p.m. ET.

🫂 Super Bowl halftime show prediction: Guest performers

Prediction: Cardi B (44% chance | +130 odds)

As I mentioned above, Kendrick technically didn't have any guests, as SZA was announced as his co-headliner before the Super Bowl. However, we're seeing at Kalshi that numerous artists are priced as being highly likely to join Bad Bunny on stage.

Among the biggest favorites is a pair of Latin music legends, with Ricky Martin trading at a 81% chance and Marc Anthony at 50%. Sandwiched between them is Lady Gaga, who's absolutely skyrocketed up Kalshi's board in the last few days.

I don't love my Cardi B prediction as much now compared to a few days ago, since it seems more likely she may just take in the game as a supporter of her boyfriend Stefon Diggs. We see that at Kalshi, as she's gone from having a 59% chance when I initially wrote this article to a 44% chance on the day of the Super Bowl.

I'm still going to buy, but I'm certainly more skeptical after seeing that movement.

⏱️ Super Bowl halftime show prediction: How long will it last?

Kalshi is also offering fans of the Big Game a chance to predict how long the halftime show will last.

There isn't much point of investing in anything shorter than 14 minutes, as "at least 13 minutes" will yield only a $1 return on a $10 investment on Yes.

Kendrick's halftime show lasted only 13 minutes, so I don't think I'd buy Yes on this market.

🎶 Super Bowl halftime show prediction: What songs will be played?

If the first song market is a little too volatile for you, you can always get involved by predicting what songs Bad Bunny will perform throughout the duration of the show.

Most of the favorites aren't appealing, but something that sticks out is that "Chambea" is trading at a 42% chance of being played. Therefore, if you put $10 on Yes, you would earn a $14 profit if he performs the song.

Maybe it's not his first song, but I'd suggest that where there's smoke, there's fire. If people are talking about it at all, it's likely going to performed in some capacity.

🏆 Super Bowl halftime show prediction: Total global viewers

This market can be found only at FanDuel Canada, but it's the lock of the century if you have access.

Our Sean Tomlinson broke down more of these Canada-only options in his Bad Bunny prop bet guide. If Bad Bunny isn't your jam, our Esten McLaren breaks down the Super Bowl halftime show performer odds for 2027, with his best pick to headline at SoFi Stadium on Valentine's Day 2027.

Over 135.5 million (-142)

First, and most importantly, Bad Bunny is quite literally the biggest artist on the planet. As was the case with Kendrick's performance last year, people who aren't watching the Super Bowl will tune in for the halftime show. That hasn't always been the case, though, as we explored some of the more underwhelming performances with our list of the worst Super Bowl halftime shows this century.

Secondly, there will absolutely be a large number of people who simply hate-watch the halftime show, so they can send out angry posts on X, Facebook, or to family members who are sick of them. Guess what, they still count toward the viewership.

Kendrick broke the viewership record last year at 133.5 million, surpassing Michael Jackson's 133.4 from 1993. Additionally, the third- and fourth-most watched halftime shows ever are Usher in 2024 and Rihanna in 2023. So, regardless of who's performing, we're seeing that people have been tuning in recently more than ever before. Combine that with the fact that Bad Bunny is, well, Bad Bunny, and this is going to soar Over 135.5 million.

🤠 Super Bowl halftime show prediction: What headwear will Bad Bunny wear for first song?

Cowboy hat (+900)

This one is also exclusive to FanDuel Canada, but it's too fun to not include.

There are plenty of options to choose from in this market, but FanDuel is getting a little tricky with its selections. It lists an aviator hat and a ski hat/beanie as two different options, despite the fact that I'd classify the former as a version of the latter. Therefore, we're ignoring the winterwear altogether and going with a cowboy hat.

If you've ever seen Bad Bunny in a cowboy hat, you know he wears the hell out of one. Also, it would be quite the statement for him to kick off his performance in headwear largely associated with "being American" while he faces criticism for apparently not being American enough to perform at halftime of the Super Bowl.

🏁 Super Bowl halftime show prediction: Last song

Favorite: "DtMF" (-250)

"DtMF" is a big favorite to close out the halftime show, with FanDuel offering it at -250. The second-biggest favorites, "EoO" and "VOY A LLeVARTE PA PR" are trading at +750.

🔢 Super Bowl halftime show prediction: Total number of songs

FanDuel has set the line on total number of songs at 11.5, with the Under juiced to -134.

Three of the last four halftime shows featured exactly 11 songs, so FanDuel knows what it's doing with this line. I would likely leave this market alone or put a small bet on Over 11.5 at +110 just in case Bad Bunny brings a collection of guests with him and the performance becomes more of a medley of hits.

🤐 Super Bowl halftime show prediction: Will Bad Bunny perform an unreleased song?

This is another one exclusive to FanDuel Canada, with No trading as a heavy favorite. The -230 odds carry a nearly 70% implied probability that Bad Bunny won't perform an unreleased song.

Personally, I can't remember the last halftime show that featured an unreleased song. To be honest, I think it could be confusing more than anything in this setting, and fans want to hear the hits. I'd leave this market alone.

👕 Super Bowl halftime show prediction: Total outfit changes

And finally, we come to the total number of outfit changes for Bad Bunny. I'm not super familiar with his live performances, so I don't know if he's out here changing outfits multiple times during them.

FanDuel has the line set at 1.5 and the Under is heavily juiced to -195. I'm not sure someone has time to change outfits during a ~13-minute performance. Additionally, Bad Bunny simply removing a hat or jacket doesn't count. I'm leaving this one alone.
