After the Golden Knights suffered their first regulation time defeat under head coach John Tortorella in Game 2, I'll gladly back the veteran Vegas squad to bounce back tonight. Playing on the road allows us to back the Knights at a near pick' em price, and Vegas has shown for years that it can get the job done on the highway. In fact, the Knights have held opponents to three goals or less in 14 of their last 15 playoff road games. Meanwhile, Utah has allowed 3+ in 11 of its last 12 at home.

Dylan Guenther Over 3.5 shots (-114)
No player has attempted more shots in this series so far than Guenther, and it's not even close. The 23-year-old forward has fired 23 shots towards the net through two games, including three unblocked attempts from high-danger areas and three more from medium-danger areas, per Moneypuck.
With Vegas focusing its checking efforts on the Mammoth's top line of Nick Schmaltz, Clayton Keller and Lawson Crouse, the opportunity should be there for Guenther and linemate Logan Cooley to continue tilting the ice tonight. The Mammoth have enjoyed two-thirds of the shot attempts share in the 37 minutes that Guenther has played so far in this series.

I'm most confident tonight in a Vegas bounceback effort, and the value of nearly even odds makes the Golden Knights moneyline my largest bet this evening. I'm also expecting Vegas to play a tight-checking conservative style but am wary of a Utah squad that has been leaky at home for the past two months, so the Under 6 is a smaller play. Guenther's shot total prop is also a half-unit play in case the Knights are extremely successful at slowing down he and his Mammoth teammates tonight.
