Dortmund vs. Inter Parlay Picks: Today's Best Champions League SGP & Starting Lineups

It's not a great spot for Borussia Dortmund or Inter Milan - the top eight might be out of reach, even with a win. But both teams will be pushing hard to at least secure a seeded playoff spot this afternoon, and we draw on that as we make our Dortmund vs. Inter same-game parlay.

Inter is a +135 road betting favorite ahead of the action from Signal Iduna Park in Dortmund, Germany, but I'm not sure they should be. The action is set to get underway at 3 p.m. ET, airing on CBS Sports Network and streaming on Paramount+.

Dortmund games have cleared this line in six of their seven UCL games, including all three at home. Across all comps, BVB has hit this line on their own in four of five games played since the calendar flipped. It's not been a great year for the Germans, but they're scoring.

Things have been a bit tighter for Inter, but they've hit it five times in seven UCL games and are dealing with injuries that will make them weaker on the back end, with Nicolo Barella (CM), Hakan Calhanoglu (DM), and Denzel Dumfries (RB) set to miss.

Inter's 3-5-2 shape should very well lend itself to giving up corners, particularly given the critical injuries it's managing in its central midfield and back line. That's not necessarily always the case, but it should be in this one.

While Internazionale have been strong against corners this season, Dortmund averages plenty at home. This is set to be a high-tempo affair, and BVB should be able to notch five or more against the Italian visitors at a venue where they often top six corners in domestic play.

Since the Club World Cup alllllll the way back in June, Dortmund has been an absolute fortress at home, suffering just two losses across 17 games (12-3-2): and those losses came in a club friendly and the German Cup. The perennial big boy in the Bundesliga has been solid at Signal Iduna Park, and with Inter's injuries, should be set up well to get a positive result - or, at the very least, not suffer a loss.

With the German side set to likely find the back of the net a couple of times, we're going to look to Serhou Guirassy to contribute to find his way to the score sheet. The forward has had multiple shots on goal in multiple games in the Champions League League Phase, and leads the German side in goals (T-1st, 3 goals) and assists (T-1st, 2 assists).
