With everyone's focus shifting to the 2026 World Cup, we're going to dig deep on the USA Men's National Team. The roster was announced earlier this week, but it had been leaked days prior, and the announcement came with no shift to the USA World Cup odds: the co-host Americans are going to have a lot of work to do to make a splash.
Can the hosts make a run and cash outright tickets at +6000, or should we dig into some other markets to find the best value?
📊 USA World Cup odds 2026
The best World Cup betting sites will offer plenty of markets, but here are some of the best from DraftKings; odds updated May 28 and subject to change:

Stage of elimination
In a similar vein you can bet where a team will be eliminated as opposed to how far they'll advance in the tournament.

| Last 32 | +170 | 37.04% | $17 |
| Last 16 | +220 | 31.25% | $22 |

🏆 USA World Cup 2026 predictions and best bets
USA to reach last 16 (+125)
No. 16 USA drew into Group D, which isn't necessarily an easy draw, as it also includes No. 22 Turkey and No. 27 Australia. It's far from a Group of Death, and the USMNT should, at worst, come out in one of the top two spots in the group. A clash with Turkey is likely to be the group-defining game, and the USA should find success by transitioning quickly through Christian Pulisic and Folarin Balogun, with Malik Tillman picking out passes. Forcing Turkey to defend like this for extended periods is exactly what will break them down.
Finishing 1D or 2D would set up pretty fine-looking matchups in the Round of 32, and would avoid the Power 4 until (at least) the quarter-finals.
A first-place finish would result in a matchup with the 3rd place finisher from B/E/F/I/J; teams that finish third in their bracket often can't hang with top-20 nations. A second-place finish would tee up a likely tilt with either Egypt or Iran (assuming Belgium finishes first in Group G). The +125 price tag here comes with an implied 44.44% chance of coming through to the last 16, and I'm surprised to see it longer than +100.
The expansion to a 48-team field ensures that the Round of 32 will be considerably weaker than in previous years, and the United States will capitalize on it. Hosts historically have outperformed expectations. You don't need them to be elite; you're just leaning into a mathematical path that FIFA has set out.
🔬 SBR EDGE: The Tactical Unlock
The Pick: USA to reach the Round of 16 (+125)
The Why: This is largely a play on the pathing, capitalizing on the host-nation boost, and even possibly the travel vector - the United States will not spend their tournament crossing time zones. For me, this price does not accurately reflect the soft path to the Round of 16.
Market boundaries: Buy-up to: +110 | Allocation: 1 unit
