We have the live live UFC Fight Night: Sterling vs. Zalal odds, with key stats and betting notes.

📊 UFC Fight Night: Sterling vs. Zalal odds - Main Card

Aljamain Sterling (25-5) vs. Youssef Zalal (18-5-1)

Aljamain Sterling ->

  • Former champ: Sterling is a former bantamweight champ (2021-2023), winning via DQ and defending his strap three times
  • Key stat: Lands 4.45 significant strikes/minute with a 61.39% accuracy

Youssef Zalal ->

  • Submission specialty: Zalal's four submission wins are fourth among all active featherweights
  • Key Stat: Zalal averages 1.46 submissions per 15 minutes

🩸 Sterling vs. Zalal betting outlook

Zalal has looked a lot better since his return to the UFC, but striking a submission against Sterling won't be so easy. Our Cody Saftic breaks down why he thinks that the total rounds is the play in his Sterling vs. Zalal prediction

Norma Dumont (13-2) vs. Joselyne Edwards (17-6)

Norma Dumont ->

  • Title shot? Dumont, the #15 pound-for-pound fighter and No. 3 women's bantamweight, will likely earn a shot at the title with a victory
  • Key stat: Hasn't been finished since her UFC debut in 2020, a first round KO/TKO loss; hasn't recorded a finish in her UFC career

Joselyne Edwards ->

  • La Pantera's opportunity: A win here against the highest-ranked fighter she's ever met should be enough to move the No. 11 women's bantamweight into the top 10
  • Key stat: Edwards' four finishes are tied for second among active women's bantamweight fighters (Amanda Nunes is sole first with eight)

🩸 Dumont vs. Edwards betting outlook

Dumont's moneyline is a bit steep. It's suitable for a parlay piece, or you can target Dumont by decision when those markets open. It should be a nice plus-money play.

Rafa Garcia (18-4) vs. Alexander Hernandez (18-8)

Rafa Garcia ->

  • Gifted workhorse: Known for relentless pace and high-volume wrestling
  • Key stat: Averages 3.13 takedowns per 15, landing with a 44.44% accuracy

Alexander Hernandez ->

  • The Great Ape consistency search: Enters on four straight wins (including back-to-back KO/TKO wins), but had dropped four his previous five bouts
  • Key stat: Boasts a 62.3% sig strike defense, fourth among active lightweights in a UFC career spanning 17 bouts since 2018

🩸 Garcia vs. Hernandez betting outlook

This one might be best suited to a live-bet angle. If Hernandez doesn't win it in the first round, it might be very well worth considering Garcia (unless he's been battered).

Davey Grant (17-8) vs. Adrian Luna Martinelli (17-1)

Davey Grant ->

  • Dangerous veteran: A well-rounded veteran (40-years-old) with four KO/TKO wins, nine submission victories and four decision wins
  • Key stat: A Fight Night bonus machine (five), he lands 5.14 sig strikes a minute

Adrian Luna Martinelli ->

  • Ecuadorian prospect: Making his first proper UFC start after beating Mark Vologdin at DWCS in October
  • Key stat: Has never been finished in his pro career, his sole loss coming via decision in 2017

🩸 Grant vs. Martinelli betting outlook

Grant is a great litmus for a newcomer to the promotion, but I think the best most here is perhaps the Over 2.5 rounds included in a parlay given the steep odds. If you have to pick a winner, side with the younger underdog.

Montel Jackson (15-3) vs. Raoni Barcelos (21-5)

Montel Jackson ->

  • Quik work: Jackson has as many first-round KO/TKO wins in the UFC as he has career losses (three, all by decision)
  • Key stat: Holds an 8-inch reach advantage over Barcelos

Raoni Barcelos ->

  • All-rounder: Barcelos comes with elite wrestling (2.22 takedown average) and heavy hands (4.92 sig strikes/minute)
  • Key stat: Recorded three finish wins in his first three UFC fights, but has gone to nine decisions in his last 11 bouts

🩸 Jackson vs. Barcelos

I'll have a bigger bet on Jackson's straight moneyline and a smaller one on the lengthy man to win by KO/TKO. That eight-inch reach advantage will be too much for Barcelos to overcome.

Marcus Buchecha (5-2-1) vs. Ryan Spann (23-11)

Marcus Buchecha ->

  • Greatest BJJ ever: Buchecha is a 4th degree BJJ blackbelt with a slew of gold medals
  • Key stat: Has just a 16% takedown accuracy (2.00 takedown average) through two UFC bouts

Ryan Spann ->

  • Superman chaos: Spann is a "kill-or-be-killed" fighter, with 10 finishes (5-5) in his last 11 fights
  • Key stat: Making just his third heavyweight fight after stepping up from light-heavyweight, going 1-1 with a KO/TKO loss and a submission win

🩸 Buchecha vs. Spann betting outlook

The price for the Under 1.5 rounds is quite steep, especially considering Buchecha's two UFC fights going the distance. The problem is, Spann hasn't won a fight that didn't end with a submission since 2022, and Buchecha hasn't been submitted in his short career (not surprising given his background). I think in the end I might just close my eyes and take Over 1.5 rounds at plus money.
