📡 SBR Edge: Josh Shows Heart Crashing the Glass

My Knicks vs. Spurs player props for Game 2 of the NBA Finals tonight feature Josh Hart Over 8.5 rebounds (-130). Since Hart is the best rebounder at his height in the playoffs, Knicks coach Mike Brown is putting him in the dunker spot to grab more boards. My second-best NBA bet is Julian Champagnie Over 2.5 three-pointers made (-110), as the Knicks will likely limit corner 3s tonight (like they did in the second half of Game 1), and Champagnie is the Spurs' most productive shooter from above the break.

💰 Pick ⚖️ Units 🧠 Why I bet this
Josh Hart Over 8.5 rebounds (-130 via FanDuel) 1.95u → 1.5u Brown has Hart in the dunker spot to grab more rebounds.
Julian Champagnie Over 2.5 three-pointers made (-110 via DraftKings) 1.65u → 1.5u NY limited corner 3s in the 2H of Game 1, and Champagnie is SA's most productive shooter from above the break.

💰 Best Knicks vs. Spurs prop bet

Follow all of our NBA analysis and expert predictions this season.

Josh Hart Over 8.5 rebounds (-130)

Hart went Over on his rebounds in Game 1, and I was thinking that maybe he was just in the right place at the right time (15 times, to be exact).

However, I was listening to The Bill Simmons Podcast the next morning, and Doc Rivers explained that Brown is purposely putting Hart in the dunker spot to grab more rebounds - a strategy he used with Rajon Rondo when he was the Celtics' coach. With Brown likely putting Hart in the dunker spot again, since he's the best rebounder under 6-7 in the playoffs, expect at least nine boards tonight.

💵 SBR Edge: Line-Shopping to Increase EV

The best line on Hart Over 8.5 rebounds is -125 at theScore Bet, but I'll use the -130 at FanDuel for my personal tracking since most people don't have access to a theScore Bet account.

🔥 More Knicks vs. Spurs prop picks

Julian Champagnie Over 2.5 three-pointers made (-110)

One of the impactful adjustments the Knicks made in the second half of Game 1 was limiting corner 3s by having weak-side defenders keep only one foot in the paint.

20260603 Brunson 1foot
New York Knicks guard Jalen Brunson (11) recovers toward San Antonio Spurs guard Julian Champagnie (30) in the left corner 3 as guard Stephon Castle (5) dribbles inside the 3-point line. Graphic via NBA.com.

What this did was force Champagnie to exclusively shoot from above the break (i.e., not from the corners). And while he went 0-for-4 from 3-point range in the second half, he leads the Spurs with 1.7 makes and 4.6 attempts per game from that zone during the playoffs, hitting at a 36.8% clip. The Knicks will likely limit corner 3s again tonight, and Champagnie is the Spurs' most productive shooter from above the break.

The best line on Champagnie Over 2.5 three-pointers made is -101 at Pinnacle, but this bet has enough value that I'll use the -110 at DraftKings for tracking since more readers have access to a DK account.

🎟️ Most-bet Knicks vs. Spurs player props tonight

Betting insights via BetMGM.

Player Team Bet Odds
Dylan Harper Spurs Over 11.5 points -115
Josh Hart Knicks Under 11.5 points -135
Josh Hart Knicks Over 13.5 rebounds + assists -120
Mikal Bridges Knicks Over 17.5 points + rebounds + assists -120
Dylan Harper Spurs Over 4.5 rebounds -160

It makes sense that Dylan Harper's Over on points is the most-bet player prop at BetMGM tonight. He has gone Over 11.5 points in three straight games, including a 16-point outing on an efficient 6-of-10 shooting performance in Game 1. His Over 11.5 points is no longer -115 at BetMGM, though; it's up to -125 now. The best line on Harper's points is Over 11.5 (-112) at Pinnacle.
